There are many ways to support your local Ground Search and Rescue teams. If you wish to get directly involved and volunteer with your local team you can contact it  here.

All teams in Nova Scotia rely heavily on fundraising and donations. You can contact your local  TEAM  to make a donation.

You can also support Ground Search and Rescue in the province by speaking to your local Member of Parliament, County Councillors, and the towns and villages about supporting volunteer Search and Rescue.

NOTICE

The Nova Scotia Ground Search and Rescue Association is sponsoring our annual telephone appeal in the Province. Funds are being raised to help publish our annual “Wilderness Survival Guide” with important information on what to do if you become lost in Nova Scotia’s many wooded areas.

Businesses are being asked to advertise in the publication and private citizens are being asked to contribute as well.

Proceeds from this appeal will also be used by the NS Ground Search and Rescue Association to provide support for the over 1,000 Search and Rescue volunteers across the Province.

For further information, please contact our Campaign Office (Toll Free) at 1-800–890-4090.

Thank you for your support.

Respectfully,

Sherry Veinot
President
